Cultural Lives: Outdoor Events

Every year Belfast’s residents come together to enjoy big outdoor events, from Culture Night to parades, carnivals, and festivals across the city. Discover who is most likely to attend those sorts of big, open air events. Find out what other cultural events and attractions outdoor arts audiences are interested in. Learn about their demographic profile and where the new audience opportunities might be.

We asked 2,200 Belfast residents about the role outdoor arts events play in their lives, in a city-wide survey commissioned by Belfast City Council. This is event is all about sharing the results with you, the sector.

We’ll talk about what the research tells us - but more importantly, we want to hear from you. How does this help you understand your audiences better? And what do you want to do with the data?

Who is it for?

Anyone who is involved with outdoor events and festivals.

The Speaker

Our research executive Laura Cusick will be leading the session. Laura has over six years of market research experience, working with clients such as PepsiCo and Google, and now the Northern Irish cultural sector.
