GDPR: get it started, get it done
Kindly supported by Belfast City Council.
Whether we're ready or not - GDPR comes into force on the 25th of May. With hefty penalties for non-compliance we all need to get our ducks in a row. But what does this mean on a practical level for small to medium cultural organisations? Claire Rose will cover how to manage marketing lists, store personal data, and how to collect data and contact information securely and fairly.
The focus will be on making sure that you comply with GDPR, while taking a practical approach that means you hang on to as much of your valuable contact information and data as possible.
Who is it for?
This two-hour session is aimed at organisations who do not have box office systems or large databases. You might be a producing company, freelancer, or a small venue or festival with personal data in a variety of places. If you haven't started your GDPR journey yet or are still unsure about what it all means - don't worry. It will be a practical step-by-step session to get you GDPR ready.
The session will be led by our client relationships executive Claire Rose. She has recently achieved the IDM award in GDPR and has a background in drama.
The session will take place from 10am to 12pm on Tuesday 30th January. You can book your free ticket now online. Snacks will be provided so if you have any dietary or accessibility requirements please contact us.
