Nominations now open for the Audience Delight Awards 2021

We launched our first Audience Delight Awards last year as a way to highlight and celebrate the best examples of audience-focused organisations in Northern Ireland. Little did we know how special it would be as we shared the news of our winners during the first lockdown. The heartwarming stories we heard reminded us of the importance of art in people’s lives.

A year later, we are once again in lockdown and can’t think of a better time to once again celebrate the power of our connection with audiences.

So this year, we’re looking for your examples of how you have nurtured your relationships with audiences when you can’t physically connect with them. How did you change what you do to answer your audiences' needs?

Some examples could be:

  • The coolest welcome back safety measures pack
  • The most inventive socially distanced performance
  • The most innovative digital show
  • The most creative non-digital way to keep in touch with audiences
  • An unusual cultural space, online or offline
  • The best online accessibility improvement

Although there’s no trophy for the winners, this will be an occasion to shine a light on your ingenuity. Finding new ways to deliver your work wasn’t easy but you made it happen. We want to feature the creative ways Northern Ireland’s cultural organisations found to welcome their audiences anyway.

How to nominate

Anyone can nominate, whether it’s your own organisation or another whose work you’ve enjoyed. Feel free to suggest any category you think will fit; we will accept all entries from any arts, culture or heritage organisation.

Get in touch with Maurane with your category and a few sentences on why it delights audiences. Closing date for entries is Friday 5th February 2021.
