Taking Part Survey - England

The Taking Part Survey is commissioned by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) in partnership with Arts Council England, Sport England and Historic England.

While it is not specific to Northern Ireland, it can give a good flavour of levels of cultural participation across different age ranges and demographics.

One great asset of the Taking Part Survey is the interactive results dashboard. You can break down participation levels across a range of art-forms by age, class, gender, education, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and more.
