The latest findings from our IMPACT North West research are here.

Over the past year, we’ve heard from more than 2,500 audience members across Derry & Strabane and Donegal, adding to four years of research into arts, culture and heritage audiences across the North West.

Because many of the same questions are asked through our wider IMPACT research across Northern Ireland, we can also see where North West audiences behave a little differently.

So what did we learn?

North West audiences like to leave things a little later. 32% booked on the day or week of their visit, compared with just 10% across Northern Ireland.

They were also more likely to be trying somewhere new, with 27% visiting a venue for the first time compared with 14% across Northern Ireland.

And the feedback was positive, with 81% of North West audiences rating their experience as very good, compared with 72% across Northern Ireland.

There’s plenty more in the report, including what audiences spend, how the cost of living is affecting behaviour and what four years of data tells us about how things are changing.

Download the full IMPACT North West report at the top of this page for more on audience behaviour, motivations, economic impact, the cost of living and more.
