Cultural Film Audiences in Belfast

We asked 2,200 Belfast residents about the role film and cinemas play in their lives, in a city-wide survey commissioned by Belfast City Council.

This audience snapshot gives a picture of what cultural film audiences look like in Belfast, in terms of age, gender, class, and family status.

Along with this, we've identified some opportunities to grow audiences for arthouse, documentary, and foreign language film venues.
